When someone asks you a questions that’s just WAY too open-ended and your brain goes into a bluescreen error, this is your go-to phrase:

“I’m sorry, that’s kind of a broad question, what do you mean exactly?”

I’ve been using it for about a month now and it’s MAGIC. Now that I’m looking back it seems obvious- like of course, just ask for clarification. But it didn’t occur to me for 26 something years so maybe it will halp someone else.
