 *a monster that looks angry isn’t as scary as a monster that looks sad or dumbfounded or manic. No angry brows

*if something is presented as out to do harm, make it difficult to figure out HOW its going to cause harm. No claws, fangs, etc.

*I find it’s really, really hard to make a monster look “cool” and “scary” at the same time. It never works.
